01 / The challenge
Deep domain knowledge, no engineering team, and a product that only works if trust is right.
The founder knew exactly how clinicians behave and what the network had to feel like. What was missing was anyone to decide how it should be built. A professional network also fails quietly if identity, privacy and verification are wrong, so the first release had to be conservative in the right places and fast in the others.
02 / Our role
We acted as the technical leadership the company did not have yet.
We scoped v1 against what the network needed to be credible, owned the architecture and cloud setup, built the product, and made the calls on what shipped first and what waited for evidence.
Verified identity
Registration and verification flows that let a clinician prove who they are without turning signup into paperwork.
Profiles and connections
The core network graph, built to stay fast as the member list and the activity on it grow.
Feed and opportunities
A relevance-ranked feed and an opportunities surface, so the product is useful on the second visit and not only the first.
Cloud and release
AWS infrastructure, monitoring and a weekly release path a small team can run safely.
03 / The outcome
Launched, in use, and still ours to improve.
The platform went live with verified members and active profiles, and the engagement continued past launch into growth work rather than ending at handoff.
04 / Impact
The numbers we track with the client.
Clinicians through identity verification since launch.
From first discovery call to public launch.
Reduction in time to a complete, verified profile.
Availability held since the product went live.
Figures are placeholders pending client sign-off.
